16mm Scale Chattenden and Upnor Railway Coach 196/200

This is a wooden kit designed to run on both 32mm and 45mm gauge track. It is based on the preserved Chattenden and Upnor Railway Coaches as operating today on the Sittingbourne and Kemsley Light Railway. This kit is for the Former Coach Number 196/200.

Comes complete with Bogies and couplings in the gauge of your choice from Swift Sixteen. The kit is also available without these items.

Production and Delivery

Bowaters Models kits are produced to order in batches, although from time to time they may be available from stock. Standard production is in MDF. Kits can also be made in plywood for an additional cost, by selecting the appropriate option.

At present the estimated time for production and delivery upon placing an order with Bowaters Models is 3-4 weeks. To secure production, payment is required in full at the time of placing your order. UPDATED APRIL 2026.
