This is a multimedia kit designed to run on both 32mm and 45mm gauge track. It is based on Caboose No.557 which was built by the Maine Central after they brought the Railroad as part of a trio of near identical cars. This car survives in preservation today and is owned by the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum.
Comes complete with Bogies in the gauge of your choice from Houstoun Gate Locomotive Works and Accucraft Chopper Couplings. The kit is also available without these items.

Production and Delivery
Bowaters Models kits are produced to order in batches, although from time to time they may be available from stock. Standard production is in MDF. Kits can also be made in plywood for an additional cost, by selecting the appropriate option.
At present the estimated time for production and delivery upon placing an order with Bowaters Models is 4-6 Weeks. To secure production, payment is required in full at the time of placing your order. UPDATED AUGUST 2023.
