Pair of couplings which fit over an Accucraft mount and give the effect of the Bowaters Paper Railway couplings. Please note, unlike on SLR models, we will not discount any sold here HOWEVER we will be donating 10% of the profit from the sale of each pair sold to the Sittingbourne and Kemsley Light Railway Garden Railway instead.
Designed in conjunction with SLR Models, these couplings are designed to give the effect of the couplings fitted to the loco’s on the Bowaters Paper Railway. The Superior style mount was originally fitted to the 0-6-2 loco’s and Excelsior style to 0-4-0/0-4-2 loco’s. They fit over an existing Accucraft buffer mount and keep the coupling height the same. Both styles are available with an end for hook & chain use, or an Accucraft chopper style end for use with Accucraft chopper couplings.
